Top trucking tunes!

When you're driving goods all around the UK, there is plenty of time to kill and one way that our drivers keep 'trucking' is by listening to some great songs.  A lot of people have their opinions about what makes a great driving song, but what do those that do it for a living think.

Our drivers' list of their top 10 trucking tunes is below.   Each driver has their own personal taste so the list includes a mixture of classic and more recent tunes, and a definite surprise!  But first, we asked them what makes a great trucking tune.  Being upbeat was top of the list, followed by a good singalong song and something you won't get bored of hearing.  Our drivers also mentioned that they listen to mixture of different styles, which is definitely reflected in their top 10.

So here goes, in no particular order, the top 10 trucking songs, as decided by our drivers are:

1. 'Highway to Hell' – ACDC
2. 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' – The Beatles
3. 'Cigarettes & Alcohol' – Oasis
4. 'One Way or Another' – Blondie
5. 'Nessun Dorma' – sung by Pavarotti

6. 'Bohemian Rhapsody' – Queen
7. 'Ruby' – Kaiser Chiefs
8. 'Ace of Spades' – Motorhead
9. 'Proud Mary' – Tina Tuner
